About Us

We are Dave and Liz Fisher and we are a husband and wife team who have lived in and owned Cannara B and B since leaving our Public Sector management roles in 2011 . The house has operated as a B and B for a number of years prior to our arrival and was built in approximately 1880. Recently we discovered that the house was named “Cannara” many years ago by the then owners whose strong religious faith drew them to have links with the small Italian Town of Cannara in Italy.

We have two lovely teenage children and a small cat named Cookie. Liz loves her creative craft making,  baking and walking the Hills while Dave loves his running in the nearby beautiful countryside.
